Mist Basketball Club secured its first victory, defeating Vinyl 77-67. Breanna Stewart and Aaliyah Edwards led the way with strong performances.
Mist Basketball Club Wins First Game Against Vinyl
Mist Basketball Club won its first game ever on Saturday. They beat Vinyl 77-67 in an Unrivaled league match.
Mist was losing 65-64 at the start of the last quarter. But they played very well and went on a 9-0 run to take control.

Stewart and Edwards Lead Mist
Breanna Stewart was the best player for Mist. She scored 23 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and had four assists and three steals. She made 7 of 14 shots and was perfect from the free throw line.
Aaliyah Edwards also played great. She scored a season-high 16 points and had nine assists.
Other players who helped Mist win were Jewell Lloyd (15 points), Rickea Jackson (13 points), and Courtney Vandersloot (10 points).
Fans were excited and happy to see Mist win for the first time.

Hamby Shines, But Vinyl Loses
Dearica Hamby was the best player for Vinyl. She scored 35 points and got 15 rebounds. But even with her big game, Vinyl lost for the third time in a row. They started the season well at 2-0 but have struggled since.

Mist now has a 1-4 record. They will play again on Monday against Phantom Basketball Club.
Phantom won the last game between them 74-69 and has a 2-3 record. Mist will try to keep winning.
