Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler is going through a rough time with his team.
After being suspended for the second time this month, reports say his relationship with the Heat is beyond saving.
During The Pat McAfee Show on Thursday, ESPN’s Shams Charania summed it up bluntly:
“This relationship is over with as far as where they’re at. I don’t think you’re gonna put the genie back in the bottle,” Charania said.
Butler has reportedly asked to be traded from Miami, and Charania said he’s “tripled down” on his request.

Things got worse when Butler decided not to travel with the team to Milwaukee for Thursday’s game against the Bucks.
This decision led to a two-game suspension.
Just weeks ago, Butler faced a seven-game suspension for “multiple instances of conduct detrimental to the team” over the season.
According to Charania, this isn’t the first time Butler has chosen not to travel with the team.
He let the Heat know he’d travel to Milwaukee separately, but Miami responded by suspending him, showing they have a “no tolerance policy” for his behavior.
At this point, Butler’s departure from Miami feels inevitable.
However, his recent actions may make other teams hesitant to trade for him. The situation raises questions about where Butler could land next.
