The Pittsburgh Steelers announced that the 2026 NFL Draft will be held in Pittsburgh from Thursday, April 23, to Saturday, April 25.
Pittsburgh is the latest city to host the draft since the NFL stopped holding it in New York City, where it was held every year from 1965 to 2014, mostly at Radio City Music Hall.

In recent years, cities like Chicago, Philadelphia, Nashville, Cleveland, and Las Vegas have hosted the draft, bringing their local style to the event.

The 2020 draft was held remotely because of COVID-19.
This year, the draft is happening in Green Bay, but Pittsburgh is already getting ready for 2026.

Steelers president Art Rooney II said, “The 2026 NFL Draft is an opportunity to celebrate football and Pittsburgh’s unique place in the history of the game while also promoting our region nationally and globally across the rare platform provided by the NFL Draft.”
