Eagles’ Coach Nick Sirianni Prepares for Super Bowl Rematch Against Chiefs
Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni is looking back at his notes from the team’s tough Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs two years ago.
He hopes to avoid making the same mistakes when the teams face off again next month in New Orleans.
The Eagles had a 10-point lead at halftime in Super Bowl 57, but the Chiefs came back to win 38-35. Sirianni is now focused on making the right adjustments.
“We have notes that we’re going through and we’ve been going through,” Sirianni told reporters on Tuesday.
“Couple tweaks here and there of what we’ll do differently and couple things that will stay the same.” However, he didn’t share details about the specific changes.
“Any time you go through any situation like that, you take notes and try to get better from each circumstance,” he added.

Eagles Show Strength Against Commanders
The Eagles looked strong in their recent 55-23 win over the Washington Commanders. Quarterback Jalen Hurts put on a great performance, scoring four touchdowns, including three that he ran in himself.
Hurts joked after the game that he felt like Sirianni had finally let him out of his “straightjacket” after being removed from the injury list just three days earlier.
“I think he was having fun after the game,” Sirianni said about the comment. “I don’t care how we win – as long as we win. Love how he went out and executed.”
The Super Bowl is set for February 9 at the Superdome in New Orleans, where the Eagles will get a chance to redeem themselves against the Chiefs.
