Brittany Mahomes Claps Back at Bills Fans Over Controversial Kermit Stunt

Brittany Mahomes calls out Bills fans for a controversial Kermit the Frog stunt aimed at Patrick Mahomes after the Chiefs’ AFC Championship win.

Bills Mafia has a reputation for being one of the most passionate and ruthless fan bases in the NFL. But this time, they may have taken things too far.

After the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills 32-29 in the 2025 AFC Championship game, Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, had some words for Bills fans about a stunt she felt crossed the line.

The win kept the Chiefs perfect against Buffalo in the Mahomes-Josh Allen era and sent Kansas City to their third consecutive Super Bowl.

Brittany Mahomes Calls Out Bills Fans

Following the game, Brittany took to Instagram to address a picture she found deeply offensive. The image showed a Kermit the Frog doll—meant to represent Patrick Mahomes—hanging from a noose attached to a crane.

“Do we remember this, Buffalo?” Brittany wrote on her Instagram story. “Absolutely disgusting… So as you go home tonight, I pray we become better people.”

While the photo wasn’t new—it was taken during a Bills tailgate in November when the teams met in the regular season—it’s clear Brittany had kept it in mind. After the championship game, she didn’t hold back in calling out Bills fans and their behavior.

Despite the negativity, Brittany made sure to thank Chiefs fans for their unwavering support. She also gave a nod to their concerns about Patrick’s ankle injury, which hasn’t stopped him from playing at an elite level during the playoffs.

Patrick Mahomes’ Response

As for Patrick Mahomes, he handled the situation with his usual calm and sense of humor. The quarterback, who has often been compared to Kermit the Frog because of his voice, leaned into the joke. He posted a meme of Kermit sipping tea on social media, signaling that he’s “minding his own business” on the way to Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans.

The Chiefs have proven time and again that outside noise doesn’t faze them. After winning back-to-back Super Bowls in 2023 and 2024, Kansas City is now chasing a historic three-peat.

Opposing fan bases can take all the shots they want, but as history has shown, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs keep rising above it. Whether the Bills Mafia learns from this or not, the Chiefs are focused on what matters most—bringing another Lombardi Trophy to Kansas City.
