Lunar Owls Stay Unbeaten with Close Win Over Laces
The Lunar Owls won a hard-fought game against the Laces on Friday night, keeping their unbeaten record in the Unrivaled standings.
They secured a 75-73 victory after Skylar Diggins-Smith made a free throw that reached the target score set after the third quarter.
At the start of the fourth quarter, the Lunar Owls were behind by five points. But thanks to Diggins-Smith and Napheesa Collier, they made a strong comeback. The two players scored 11 of the team’s 13 points in the final quarter.

Collier, a star for the Minnesota Lynx and the WNBA’s reigning Defensive Player of the Year, had an outstanding game.
She scored 26 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and made 10 of her 14 shots. She also recorded one block and one steal, impressing fans with her performance.
Diggins-Smith also played well, finishing with 16 points and four assists while shooting 50% from the field.
On the Laces’ side, Kayla McBride was the top scorer with 26 points.
McBride, who is also Collier’s teammate on the Lynx, showed her shooting skills throughout the game. She made six of her eight three-point attempts, hitting 9 of 14 shots overall.
With this win, the Lunar Owls are now in first place in the Unrivaled standings with a perfect 5-0 record. The Laces, after their first loss, are now 4-1.
