With the NBA trade deadline closing in at 3 p.m. ET on Thursday, general managers around the league are scrambling to make their final moves.
Fans are eagerly waiting for those big blockbuster trades that could change the whole championship picture for the second half of the season. While the major deals are still in the works, a few smaller trades have already gone through and could affect the playoffs.
Here are the latest trades that happened before the deadline:

De’Aaron Fox Heads to Spurs; Zach LaVine Joins the Kings
According to NBA insider Chris Haynes, the San Antonio Spurs made a three-team trade to get De’Aaron Fox, sending Zach LaVine to the Sacramento Kings.
ESPN’s Shams Charania added that the Kings are also getting three first-round picks and three second-round picks.
Meanwhile, the Spurs will pick up Jordan McLaughlin, and the Chicago Bulls will receive Tre Jones, Zach Collins, Kevin Huerter, and their own 2025 pick (courtesy of the Spurs).
Anthony Davis Traded to Mavericks; Luka Dončić Moves to Lakers
In a surprising midseason swap, ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that the Los Angeles Lakers have traded Anthony Davis to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for Luka Dončić.
The Lakers will also get Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris, while the Mavericks will receive Max Christie and the Lakers’ 2029 first-round pick.
To help make this deal happen, the Utah Jazz took guard Jalen Hood-Schifino from the Lakers. Utah will also get the Mavericks’ 2025 second-round pick and the Los Angeles Clippers’ 2025 second-rounder.

P.J. Tucker Leaves Clippers for Jazz
ESPN’s Shams Charania and Bobby Marks report that the Los Angeles Clippers are sending P.J. Tucker to the Utah Jazz. Tucker has been sitting out this season as he and the Clippers looked for a trade partner.
The Jazz are also acquiring Mo Bamba and a future second-round pick while sending Drew Eubanks and Patty Mills to the Clippers.
Nick Richards Moves from Hornets to Suns
The Phoenix Suns are strengthening their frontcourt by trading for center Nick Richards from the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for guard Josh Okogie.
The Suns and Hornets also swapped second-round picks, with Phoenix sending three future picks to Charlotte and getting one in return.
Dorian Finney-Smith Heads to Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers traded D’Angelo Russell, Maxwell Lewis, and three second-round picks to the Brooklyn Nets for Dorian Finney-Smith and Shake Milton.
Finney-Smith brings much-needed defense on the perimeter for the Lakers. His ability to shoot from distance and play off the ball should work well with LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
