Bill Belichick Talks on Relationship in GMA Interview Amid UNC Buzz

UNC head coach Bill Belichick opened up about his relationship with 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson on Good Morning America, brushing off concerns about his personal life.

Bill Belichick has only been part of North Carolina’s football program for about six months, but he’s already made headlines far beyond the field—and not necessarily for coaching.

The 72-year-old head coach’s relationship with 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson has been the center of attention, with her regular presence in his life sparking nonstop chatter. Despite rumors claiming Hudson was banned from UNC facilities, that’s not true. She’s not an employee of the school either.

Belichick appeared on Good Morning America on Friday with Michael Strahan, and yes, the subject of Hudson came up. When Strahan asked the legendary coach if he was happy, Belichick answered immediately:
“Yeah.”

Strahan smiled and replied, “You look happy. I never thought I’d see you doing yoga,” prompting the two to share a laugh.

That said, not everyone in Belichick’s circle is quite as carefree. ESPN’s Pablo Torre previously reported concerns within Belichick’s family about Hudson’s influence on him and the potential impact on his legacy.
“There is deep worry for how detrimental Jordon can be for not just North Carolina but Bill’s legacy, reputation—everything he has built and worked for over decades,” Torre shared.

People magazine also noted that Belichick’s kids are cautious about the relationship, saying, “They want the best for their dad but like most family members, they hope this is a good choice for him.”

Still, despite the concern from others, Belichick seems completely at ease with where things stand. Whether it’s love, yoga, or football, he’s clearly doing things on his own terms—and for now, that looks like happiness.
